We fit high-performance vapour-permeable membranes paired with factory-graded, preservative-treated timber battens set precisely to your tile gauge. This lets moisture escape from your attic space naturally, preventing condensation rot while stopping wind-driven rain from penetrating the roof space.

Mortar eventually cracks and weathers over time, which is why we replace old sand-and-cement verges and ridges with dry-fix systems mechanically bolted to the battens. Where tiles meet brickwork, chimneys, or valleys, we dress Code 4 milled lead directly into the brickwork joints to form clean, stormproof seals.

A full re-roof takes four to eight working days, so keeping your living spaces dry throughout the strip-off is essential. We work in controlled sections with heavy-duty tarpaulins secured overnight, drop debris straight into skips via chutes, and run magnetic sweepers across your driveway to collect stray fixings.
